NAB 2017 was a blast this year. Not only did I get to show off my latest content as a freelance motion graphic designer, but show off the game I’ve been working on for the last 2 months. It’s great because it shows how C4D and it’s modeling tools and BodyPaint tools can be integrated into the Unity game engine for some pretty outstanding results.

As far as the game synopsis goes, here is an overview of what it’s about:

“This game is a single-player space shooter from the vein of the Starfox series. The player will fly along a pre-determined route and will engage in high-intensity, cinematic moments in space flight. There will be dogfighting through a roaming asteroid field, slicing through gigantic battle cruisers as they engage in a high-intensity battle, and an dramatic story with the war between the United Alliance and the Terran Nationals. Set to be released on Steam then other consoles. – Al Heck”

As a bonus, I’ve created a downloadable version of the game at this link here:

It is MAC only for now. If you do download it, unzip the file, set it to 1080p and have fun. WASD, left mouse trigger or comma to fire guns, right mouse trigger or period to fire missiles. There is also a slight bug with the restart. You’ll have to press “P” twice to get it going. Just a slight script error on my part.

Enjoy!
